Im currently using 2.2 and one problem I have with it is channel changing sometimes takes up to around 5 seconds, I just get the VIX logo on the top left before it changes

has that been fixed or improved? or is it an issue with all images?

are your picons on HDD thats normally the cause as hdd needs to spinupo before channel is changed

Great work as usual guys can i ask does this have better compatability with newer versions of oscam compared to the older images that would only run smoothly with older oscam builds thanks

Used 5000 and currently using 6000 no problems whatsoever.

A quick question guys: is the DM Concinnity skin available for the v2.3 ViX image?

No only skins in the feed are guaranteed to work, others you install at your own risk.

Al done as easy as any other, but i noticed this where the boxes are running out of the edge of the screen.
Any fix for this or are you aware of it as yet.

What is the picture format set as on your tv? I had to chanhe mine to just scan for this to work and left the osd settings as default values Nd its worked perfect

cant get all the channel info to show on epg on this wonderful image what am i doing wrong? never had problem before

Mine as always been on original, never had to before mess with osd settings, never thought they existed until i read just now lol.
If i put to just scan then actual picture is out, black bars for example on ch5 i can then change some settings on the osd but they do not fit or move enough i.e limited to go any further.
So put back to original as like i say it deforms my actual program picture.
Will have to put up with it and see if a fix comes out

Foxy, post is not clear, if you mean PIC on C5 has black bars down the side than some proggies such as NCIS do and selecting just scale in AV settings will fix it for 99% but not old NCIS episodes.

Bars are very small but there if i put it into JUST SCAN which i have never had to do before, i have always left tv has it is and no problems.
Oh and i wanted to see what others were on about the night time skin and agree fully with them, cracking skin and i will be keeping that one always, perfect colours for the eyes.
Keep up the excellent work peeps, it really is appreciated even thou i have moaned above lol

Lads, just realised I can control the Vu with my Philips tv remote, really really top work! I think yis have outdone yourselves this time :thumbsup:

Still can't get the OSD to stretch across fully to the right of this tv though but can live with it..

sorry guys i was ment to make a OSD tutorial but couldnt find my recoding equiptment i have now found it and will do a tutorial for OSD and how to set it up correctly

For some reason when i install my channel list i get seperate sd channels and hd channels this never happened up until now going back to 2.2 its back to normal again.

Hi guys

First of all good work on the new image an early christmas present many thanks

Ok two little things i just like to know first of all concerns the new bootloader ... you mention the new version should be loaded with this new image with a warning that older images will not work with it so im just asking where abouts one can find an old bootloader on our site incase of major problems and havin to revert back to older image maybe one of the mods can post a page link for this

The other one im not so sure was a problem with me or glitch however i will explain... I always password protect my boxes and telnet my box did the root login the ps to view startup then typed passwd but it wouldnt allow me to set a password in the end i got round it by downloading the password plugin so all is well but just wonder was it a glitch or me ?

But now it happende to me: The picture does'n fit on my screen of 55" Samsung LED UE55C6005. The sides spread beyond the screen and especially part of the menus vanish.
This never happened with the former versions of VIX. I have not found any help to adjust it on menus and I see no reason to start configuring my TV-set. Please lead me to solution.

Menu > Setup > System > OSD > OSD Setup. Alternatively turn of overscan on your TV or set to justscan, depends on the TV.
