[ET9x00] VIX TV Guide CH5 HD blank since 2.3 + Channel changing question

Hi all,

V pleased with 2.3, one issue though in the VIX TV guide -Channel 5 HD (UK) is blank all others are ok, when changing to the channel I get whats on and channel changes - so doesn't look like the channel SID has changed\channel moved?


Also one thing which has bugged me since moving to the ET9000 from Sky - Why is it when changing to certain channels there is a pause as the HDD is spun up first? is there anyway to stop this short of forcing the HDD to be spinning all the time? USB drive for instance...

All of the Channel 5 channels recently moved over to astra 1N as for the HDD do you have picons on the HDD ?

Solved the EPG issue... having upgraded forgot I needed to configure Cross EPG download :sofahide: Had already moved the C5 channels

I do have picons on the HDD - that makes complete sense now - can I force them to be pulled from the internal memory or USB?

Easiest way is to copy the picon folder from the HDD to the root of your memory stick by FTP then reboot the box ( remembering.to.delete the folder from.the HDD once.done ), the image will auto detect the location change and they will work fine.
