Which exact image are you using ?, find out by pressing the menu button then go to information> about.

try rebooting box and router recheck network test it say your connected,if you are on old firmware plugins downloads may not work and new image would be needed.

You need to make sure you have primary and secondary DNS set for downloading stuff on to box
