Hi, iv'e set a vu duo up via a scart lead the picture is perfect but the menu, epg etc are very blurry!

Does anyone know why?

Thanks

Which image, version number are you using?
Whick skin are you using? using a HD skin on an SD output could cause this issue.

Sorry the latest build 747. Thanks i'll try and change the skin and report back.

cheers

I'm sure Rob has an SD skin in the feeds that he fully updates, maybe give that a try.

Yeah, Magic-SD is the one you should use then.

But tbh: I don't use it very often, so I would be grateful for any comment on issues with that skin.

Thanks judge/rob works a treat. If I come across any issues i'll let you know.

Thanks again

Hi Rob i think i may have found a minor issue. On the recrordings the hdd is showing 99% and has been stuck on that since i applied the sd skin even tho i have quite a few gb of recordings.

Thanks

Hmmm, not sure what the issue is then; both skins use the same code to read the available space, and I can't see any difference either (see my screenies).

i take it if you use the magic-sd skin you should only record in sd or can you still use hd recordings to hdd and move them elsewhere, same issue different box but older firmware+bad eyesight dont help:confused:

You can record and play both SD & HD, regardless of the skin or the output used.
In other words: also HD-recordings on a CRT TV are fine (and even clearly much better then SD-recordings).

i have an old crt to heavy to move 100hertz,was tops in its time, yes i prefare hd recordings over sd,might try some adjustment settings,no need to change refresh mode or do settings change when in scart?

Nope, nothing to change at all. Output on scart is always 'understandable' for scart inputs (so all contents has been downscaled by the STB).
And 100Hz means the telly isn't that old at all.

Hmm thats strange, ive used a different hdd in the reciever too but still the same.
