[VU+ Duo] Vu+ HBBTV

[Rob van der Does]

HbbTV has indeed a lot of potential, absolutely. And I agree: going to VTi for just this is no option (for me; of course everyone can decide that for himself).
I do hope VU will spent enough effort to get this going, on all images and with all options working good and stable. They need to, if they don't want to loose the race.

Hi,

What is HBBTV? Their website doesn't really say much. Can anyone shed some light in plain English? Cheers

HBBTV should link TV with internet content. You can access additional information a better EPG and a multimediathek. It is quite nice if it works.

There are 2 'excuses' (if we needed one):
1- the way VU + implemented HbbTV-support requieres a major Enigma2 hack (i.e. a lot of work, onlu for VU boxes);
2- HbbTV doesn't work on many channels (such as the Dutch channels, Dr.Dish-TV and a number of French channels).

Its working Fine with Dr Dish TV an many more that i tried, not sure about the Duo but works on my Uno
