[VU+ Solo2] Vu Solo 2 problem

Need some expert help , my vu solo 2 is stuck on image 773 trying to upgrade to 790 just not happening, I keep getting "background check try again " Disabled background check in Setup>Software Update still nothing!!
Tried again with VUCC 0.7 (telnet command) It gave me error message line is too long not enough space corrupt etc.
I update the duo fine with telnet
I Checked my information and can see my 200mb flash has been used up only 160kb left :/ accidentally left epg to save too internal flash (doh changed now too hdd)
Tried factory reset but no good it does nothing, loads the 773 image with no settings.
For now i managed to restore too an earlier backup 733 all is working so will leave it
USB isnt working either formatted same way i first flashed vix (same WD 4GB Stick) not being detected!!
Any ideas People??

Please delete all files in "/var/lib/opkg/lists" , reboot and try again.

delete /etc/enigma2/crossepg folder if one exists.
