vu+solo 2

help
i have tried to flash my vu+solo 2 which came today with the factory firmware on it, but when i try to flash the bootloader the display shows NO MOUNTABLE .
even when i try to flash the vix image it shows the same?
i have tried two diffrent usb sticks but the result is the same
help

There is no bootloader update to flash on the solo2. What exact file did you use ?.

You don't need to flash the bootloader on the solo2. Just format the USB stick to Fat32 unzip the image to the root Of the USB device then plug in to your solo2 box, switch on and press the blue button when you see the message to press the power button, then press the touch sensitive blue button on the front.

Thats the v 2.0 bootloader update for the original Solo, unfortunately you may have just destroyed the bootsector on your receiver.

I suggest you contact your supplier and ask for assistance, they may be able to jig it back into life, failing that it may need to be returned to korea for repairs ( hopefully that wont be the case ).

it worked a treat but i had to press the blue button twice -
now got Vix image on , will configue tommorrow when i have more time .

In that case be very thankful the bootloader did not flash as it would have been a very different story for you. if you need any more help please dont hesitate to ask.
