Which box should i get next?

I've currently got a VU+Duo and has served me very well these past few years.
However I'm constantly getting the vix logo spinning for a short while every time i change channel or do something else.
I can also hear the HDD whirring away when this happens.
It Seems that it's staring to struggle and slowly going downhill.
It has already suffered the "Red light of death" of which i replaced the capacitor to get it working again,
But am thinking of buying something newer and with more power/memory etc.
also Would a solid state HDD be a better option fitted as their quieter and faster?

hi,ive also got a duo which struggles a bit now an then,enable a swap file if you havnt already and maybe instal the casheflush plugin from the feeds,seems to help.i find my duo is only stable with no other plugins or picons installed.
if you do get a newer reciever ive also got a solo 2 so i can only comment on that and its a cracking box if you only need 2 tuners
