Why does signal fluctuate

Hi,

I hope someone can help.
I have an 80cm dish on Astra2 - this has worked ok for a number of years. Recently the picture started breaking up. I thought possibly dish has moved due to strong winds.
I have attempted to realign the dish without any success. I have tried 3 lnb's and 2 receivers.
At the moment on the vu+duo (on bbc), the snr is going between 70 and down as low as 30.

Any suggestions please?

check your cable, particularly the dish end for possible water ingress and fit new F connectors, what you descibe is usually lnb or cable fault

Thanks for the replys, I have re-sited the dish from the front of the house to the side and it is solid signals.

I now believe the problem is something to do with the mobile phone masts over the road, as when dish is at the side of the house and screened from the masts I can tune in the sat no problem, if I move it to the front, then the problems re-occur.

I suppose it is now time to get the ladder and the drill out, as dish is at ground level at the moment.
