Hi, I’m setting up a Gigablue Quad, image version 3.0 build 806 and I’m having problems getting the wifi to work.
I’ve followed the guide instructions.
The dongle is an Edision WiFi EDI-Mega using the Ralink 5370 chipset, so I downloaded and installed the "drivers-network-usb-rt3070" driver as recommended in this post
I cannot get the wifi to properly establish a connection.
Running Network Test: WLAN connection, it shows
LAN Adapter – WLAN Connection Green check marks
Wireless – Green check mark
DHCP – Enabled green check mark
IP Address – unconfirmed red and no check mark
Name server - – unconfirmed red and no check mark
All other wireless devices in the house are working fine – ipods etc.
I’ve tried with two different routers, original Netgear and a Zyxel, but that made no difference.
I’ve reflashed the image twice now with no success.
The wifi did work properly on the original Openmips 2.0 and 2.1 images.
What should I try next please?
