PLEASE, im not having a go at anyone, im interested in admins opinions and feedback and hopefully a few more Extrend receivers can be added to the WOS listing
The xtrend Universal Remote Control available through WOS is listed as only covering the following>
ET-7000
ET-7500
ET-8000 Same as Amazon.DE
ET-8500
ET-9500
ET-10000 Same as Amazon.DE
BUT, the same xtrend Universal Remote Control which is listed on Amazon.de covers the following>
ET 8000 Same as WOS
ET 10000 Same as WOS
ET 9200 EXTRA
ET 9000 EXTRA (see the comment section in the amazon listing for the ET9000. Translation below)
Both sites show the same IR codes are used for the ET-8000 & ET-10000, but the amazon site ALSO shows that same code is used for the ET9200 also (& ET9000 as in the amazon comment section.
It would seem that more models are supported by these Universal remote's, but not all the information is available to the sellers for advertising.
There are multiple cases of the same thing, above is just one example.
Translated Amazon comment to English>
Finally a better Remote control by xtrend!
The original Remote control of my et9000 is just a cheaper plastic, and after 2 years scrap. I think even the cheapest TV of the world has a better Remote control - This new xtrend Remote control is what finally you can work with and are not ashamed if you show someone his Linux receiver!
She is although not a designer piece, but what I expect for this price!
Another Example>
This reprogrammed after market remote covers the following>
ET9500 Same as WOS
ET9200 Same as Amazon.DE
ET9000 Same as Amazon.DE
ET6000 EXTRA
What do all think ? Any members have more than one different xtrend receiver they can test this out on
