Have you tried re-flashing WITHOUT settings restore?

Have you tried re-flashing WITH a settings restore?

NO

I just installed the Yamp Music player, went through the setup and next opened a folder on the hdd. When clicking on the mp3 file. The app just crashed.

How do I get the fixed version? Is there an ipk file or will it be loaded into the plugin feeds?

Go there. Click the download link to that file. Send the file to your receiver by FTP, to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components. Restart enigma.
