Cool TV guide is not fully compatible with ViX. And as the author uses closed sources, we are not able to get Cool TV working.
So the only option is to use the build in ViX-EPG, which is working much faster then Cool (but has less options).

Backup your settings using the backup manager in vix menu. It will backup your settings and favourites then when u flash the image you an restore it via the restore wizard

But on top of that: first of all try to disable "overscan" of your TV. At the moment it is rebuilding every pixel it gets from the box to show as 0.95 pixel, and that really harms your picture quality.
It has been said many times: "overscan" is on many TV's a more or less hidden setting under all kinds of fancy names.

Has anyone manage to get the auto 3D working with a 3D tv. I have set the OSD 3D menu to be auto but when I go on a 3D channel the video is side by side. I thought if on auto the tv should pick auto detect and switch 3d on by itself.

All, I installed the new firmware this morning and restored the settings.
All installed OK bnut the DTT Sundtek worked really bad.
Timeout errors, not data on transponder errors and freezes on black screens.
No plugins installed and I tired the update drivers in sundtek control center and it was no difference.

I needed to be able to record stuff today so I restored 2.3 and the DTT is fine.

Anyone else any issues with sundtek (especially on irish dtt.) since update of 24th.

One other thing I had to restore from usb as I could not get the restore to start fronm VIZ image manger menu.

Srt subtitles do not work with this new image. Box does not see them, so it's impossible to activate.

Subtitle file and movie (mkv, avi, mp4...) must be in same folder and have the same name. For example Movie_1_2_3.mkv and Movie_1_2_3.srt
Then it's possible to select the subtitles with audio > yellow button combination or with subtitles button. Now in new ViX 2.3 (Linux 3.1.1) image it's impossible to activate subtitles, as box does not see them and there's nothing to activate.
I'm using OpenPLi now, because subtitles for non english people are very important.

i tried to upgrade firmware (fpga), after a successfull install of the new Vix 2.3, from the plugin menu but got error ( missing md5 chechsum or something like) , repeated the operation after rebooted the box but still have same message. any advice ?

with VIX and all (VTI, same result .... BH etc.) can not open folders in the PC (w7) (network browser)
my configuration
AZBOX = OK (xp and w7).
VU UNO = OK-> xp
NOK = w7
disabled firewalls (PC and eset)
someone else with this problem that is resolved?
