Don't blame the ViX Team. Could be many things that that might have gone wrong for you. Could be your download was corrupted, could be your USB stick, could be a number of things! Did you flash the bootloader before the image?? Loads of variables here, just to easy to blame the image rather then user error.

Next time start your own thread please rather than hijacking someone else's.

I use the same USB stick that allways, the files is not corrupted, sure i flash the bootloader first not first time i do this.

OKi so now you blame me, it's easy for you to blame everything on some on else instead of come with solutions.
Now i am the BAD guy, thanks m8!

no one is saying your the bad guy, but ranting and raving will not sort the problem. try another USB stick also try in one of the other USB ports. also maybe try another image such as BH for example. we are here to help but you getting ratty wont do any thing to help.

I tried 5 USB sticks allready all this 5 sticks have worked for me before, it is just now after THIS NEW bootloader that this problem came up.
And i know we have to do this methodically step by step, but still you be frustraded when you do this the right way and you trust this files are OKi on this forum no.
Why i paste in this tread was that i also not have a display first but i flashed once more and it came back now i have display again

Just quickly watched your video. Imo the box is bricked, one thing you could check it that all ribbon leads are connected properly and the psu lead is connected to securely to motherboard.

yep checked all that i can also feel the warmth from the cpu so it is running psu is outputting voltage etc, i simply flashed the usb bootloader the rebooted as i have before but this time it displyed nothing to say it was loading the firmware at next stage
i have jtag but see no info on jtagging for the duo as i have jtagged dboxs/dreamboxs etc in the pasts
thanks for the help anyway i have emailes vu support via email and hope to get a reply soon

This will explan better
and i really need to oil that chair

im no expert m8, but should you not have the sat feeds attached to the box, as your video shows you have no feeds attached ??? i would also check the small ribbon that feeds the lcd on your box in case there is a problem there m8

sorry m8, my post came at the back of sic, so you have tried the ribbon !!!

Hi just to get things right in my head , Did you flash the new bootloader then switch off the box from the rear mains switch and replace the USB containing the bootloader file with the new VIX image then re-plug the USB then power up the box from the rear mains switch?? OR did you flash bootloader file then power off the box from rear and re-boot without the usb containing the new VIX image on it ?????

Its possible that the box is stuck in deep standby, now this may seem stupid but have you tried to power the box on with the remote control ?
When I first got my box I also had nothing but the red led and cured it with a combination of switching on and off a few times with the rear switch and the remote, I haven't used deep standby since then.

Weres your USB ? it looks like the front flap is closed on your video ? if you have the usb stick in the rear MOVE it to the front port behind the card reader flap and try again.

I have tried them all 3 USB ports same results

Ok but i always use the front USB port and have never had a problem !! sorry but i cannot help any further as you seem to be doing everything correctly as far as i can see, just make double sure you have a fully formatted (fat32) usb (another one preferably) other than that im as stumped as you are..
