Vu+ Duo Stream to your Iphone 4 / 4s

Hi all

i have a Vu Duo box loaded all my films on to the hard drive now i can play movies via a app called Goodplayer.. "that was easy"

Now the hard bit im trying to stream live tv onto my Iphone 4s.. via app iStreamGate

to add Reciver this is what the app asks for

Name = Vu+ Duo

Ip Address = mine is 192.168.X.X

Streaming port = 8088

Protocol: http or https = http

Port: 8088

System: enigma 1 or enigma 2 = enigma 2

tuner single or multi - i have tryed both ???

username root

password ****

can any one help it will connect and i can see the EPG for each channle but when trying to View a live channle on my iphone keeps saying Error is there a setting on my View Duo that i need to enable or am i doing somthing wrong on my iphone

remember i can view movies i have uploaded on my Vu duo via my iphone... but not Live stream...

make sure you have forwarded your HTTP port to your router as well as port 8001 which is the streaming port. the rest of the details you should have the same what you use on Good PLayer.
im not too sure about the app as i use Dreambox Live on my iphone/ipad and that works flawlessly

can some one with Vu duo Hook me up in the right direction thanks mate

Go ino menu/plugins and see if u have openwebif or webinterface? Either way go into one of them and u will see the HTTP port. That is your port u need to add on ur iphone and in ur router

Hi mate

ok this is were i have got to:

openwebif the New one with the 2.3 Update 25/12/11
- cant get openwebif to work the port was 8088

i read somewere on here to disable openwebif and go into plugins and try the old webinterface Port 80..

Now i can get channel list on my iphone but when clickin an a movie or what ever channel on Iphone 1-2 seconds it works then the pic freezes???


Progress but slow lol....

Streaming port Leave that Blank it says 8001 in it but dont put anything in it...

Port: thats the one you need to put 8808 or 80 is mine....

you can play all channles with EPG and Channle list


you cant play HD channles they Freeze...

i cant get VLC to work so this is the best one i have found that works wil the old Webinterface

Dreambox live is another app which has been working really well for sometime now

Can't use it yet as I'm not on iOS 5... Hopefully soon as the ipad2 jailbreak released

I have used dreamdroid and androiddreamer, just set up a no-ip account for a static ip and stream from anywhere to your box.

Would love to know ur upstream bandwidth... As streaming outside of your home network requires either a fast upload stream, or a form of compressing the video, such as a slingbox...

i just use androidreamer with http/dydns/vlc for compression it only uses about 30k upstream
