yes it is, since going to starting via the vix panel, with out the auto start option...its been perfect
The problem introduced around december 2011, with the picture freezing and pixelling under timeshift and/or playback of recorded shows, is still there. That was a bit of a disappointment. I'll try some of the older drivers, as I did last time, and maybe it will be better this time as well. Hope the Vu-dudes soon will address this problem, so the VIX-guys can fix the rest. Thanx guys!![]()
I watch on timeshift & playback of recorded shows all the time & never have an issue.
Are you sure it's not your HD?
Pretty sure.. Most often appear on HD-channels. I have two boxes, and two of my friends have one each, and we all have the same problem, and if I'm not totally wrong, it was first seen last december.
The drivers from december 2011 seems to be more stable, but they don't cure the problem 100 %. It looks like the sync is lost, and when the box is trying to get things together, the picture might freeze or pixel. Sometimes it might even freeze. The solution then is to do a ffw or frw for a sec or two, and then press OK. Usually it will then work fine. Maybe for the lest of the show, or maybe only a minute or two. Simply very annoying.![]()
not trying to knock new version of vix but cams do not work consistently and hard drive is off the radar it is spinning so much. great to be back on old release![]()
very dedicated vix fan but have gone back to old version. i know for a fact that there is a cam issue as it is in front of my eyes with a local card. basil is what you suggest the solution so i can revert to the current version of vix
Same here: no problem whatsoever. So if there are problems they are more likely to do with a specific setup than with ViX-2.4. And that seems logical, as in that area nothing has been changed.I am not saying you dont experience any problems with various cams and your setup, but i am saying that i categorically do not and never have had issues with CCcam and the 2.4 ViX image.
Indeed: working around a problem will never get it solved........maybe you should provide logs.
