Hello,

can you fix in next release the crash on shutdown while using MerlinEpgCenter?

we would need you to provide crash logs and where possible debug logs of the times when the crashes took place. also be aware that the merlinEPG center plugin is not our work so any fix may need to come from the plugins own author rather than us.

Reading the crashlog tells me that Merlin-EPG is not compatible with ViX. The author should be asked to do something about that.

But better still: tell us what you really miss in ViX-EPG; that way we might be able to add functionality to it (I can't promise anything, but what you don't ask is what you don't get).

OK Rob,

in the Image EPG i miss on MultiEPG the Tab for SingelEPG. I would like to go through the channels and then quickly see the SingelEPG from selected channel, without having to leave the MultiEPG and move to the SingleEPG.

Then:
-The InfoBar QuickEPG is slightly overlapped from the InfoBar
-In German Language some Menue not wide enough to display all written options.

info-long does just that (as default setting: open EPG-Menu to see (or change) the actual settings of the buttons).
Once in channel-EPG the exit-button brings you back to the multi-EPG.

Then:

This is skin-dependant. Please make a screenshot, so we can se if we can change anything. And please try the skin Magic-HD, to see if that's OK (and again: make a screenshot if it isn't).

Regarding the screenshots:
#1: A known problem; sometimes the info is simply too much.
#2 & 3: A known problem with the ViX-skins: they are too small indeed.

Magic-HD is OK:thumbsup: . However, the Infobar contains only few informations. Such as hbbtv, Stereo, Tuner.

Correct: the other info is located in the Second Infobar (on second OK).

The EPG screen I love but for one aspect. The highlighted channel with the Yellow bar. Besides making the contained white text near impossible to read, it makes the screen a bit "tacky" with too many colours that clash. Suggested colour dark green.

I find almost perfect Magic_HD. only the the notation from QuickEPG ist some large.

Other problem remains. HDMI_CEC to DeepStandby with VIX dont work. My TV (LG42PJ350) cant send VuDuo to DeepStandby. The front display will blink twice, but no longer happens. In other Image(VTI) it works. However, there also are the HDMI-CEC options other than in VIX.

Re the EPG Colours - YES I looked at Magic-HD and the Red with the Blue only seen on Flags with red white and blue. It dont work. I dont like that skin as too many things I find needing tweeks. For the VIX_Night_HD skins EPG screen, my suggestion is that if YELLOW panel is liked, then change text within to BLACK as this provides a better contrast to be able to read the text. I still think DARK GREEN, with even YELLOW text would be the best.

If you are having problems the best way to resolve is to re-flash using the USB method, plenty of information on the site how to do this. It is always best to back up your settings independently (channel and dish settings) so it will only take you a few minutes to get back on again. If you need any more help just let me know and I will give you more detailed instructions.

What do you mean by 'a language translator'?
The new VIX EPG on the image released soon is the most advanced EPG of any image (serious background changes), enjoy it & let us know what can be improved.

If this is about translating the program-info, the answer is a simple 'no'.

just channel list, as epg does not care about what tuners you have.
