Fixed in build 370; will be online shortly.
Blew up on restart, but after power off/on has been fine... however before it crashed there was text saying "hope this doesn't cause a crash"............... very strange!

bootlogo was updated when we went from 2.4 to 3.0

if your refering to the old black bootlogo's they were removed at the request of their author silverfox as he is no longer part of the ViX image team and did not want us using them.
well if you actually bothered to look you may have just noticed that the changelogs upto build 370 were indeed posted 22 hours ago.
you can also see the changlogs via the image it self when updating

So polite thank youI looked at where it says "view the changes" on the software update in the image on my box, and it still shows no changes for image 370 as I write this, although now 371 has appeared.
And the reply was so nice it will invite help in the future

i updated mine to 371 but the box kept crashing as soon as it turned on.gone back to 370 and woking perfect again.

Then you had timeshift enabled in your setup; in 371 there's a problem in this area. Will probably be fixed soon (in 372 or so).

don't mind anyway as i do a back up before hand. seen the update and tried did not work,just have to wait till next one.

If you disable Timeshift (and leave it disabled) it's safe to update. I have 4 boxes running fine on 371 (apart from PTS).

Yes, but IIRC they were also in the build 370 update so my customised bootlogo, backdrop and radio logos were replaced.

They will be, any update and you need to ftp customisation back to the box.

I use the latest VIX image 3.0 Build 378 on my XTrend ET9000
My et9000 crashes when I go into IPK-Installer and press the yellow button "Extra IPK`s"
Is there a way to get a good ipk repository to the VIX Image?
You know - one where I can install more plugins without the need to install it manually through FTP,...
