not sure why it is failing to resolve the URL then. not an image issue, so sorry can't help.

edit:

one thing you could try is.

/etc/opkg/vuultimo-feed.conf/etc/opkg/mips32el-feed.conf
/etc/opkg/3rdparty-feed.conf
/etc/opkg/all-feed.conf

edit these files and replace the url enigma2.world-of-satellite.com with the ip 94.75.215.25

see if thats helps.

Maybe worth adding those google dns servvers to your router & run the same traceroute on the box again.

Thanks but why can I trace route and ping to same location from my PC without issue, makes no sense if I re-flash the box now it will start working again for some undefined period could be hours or a week! Not being funny but how would you explain that I am not on my own.

Thanks but cant change DNS in hub so ive changed all my internet settings on pc, lap top, phone and of course the box.

if I do nothing else but re-flash the box it will work 100%

unless a plugin you install is messing with some stuff, all i can suggest is, reflash, do not restore sattings or install any plugin's see how it goes, if is is fine then add plugins one at time over a period of time.

Ok Thanks, I can manage without Picons and I know for a fact that it fails with the basic fan-control but I am now using the version 2, I have an edited version of mr mr bouquet so now not a plug in, I have no other plugins, cccam 2.2.1 for last 12 months so no changes there.

This use to happen when I was with SKY BB too

Are these commands exactly as they should be /etc/ ?

I can manage without Picons

It's better to install picons manually as updating them from the feeds can take quite a while.
Upload the ones you want to the box using ftp, then add the picon folder as an extra back-up location in backup manager.
That way when you restore your settings, the picons are also restored.

Are these commands exactly as they should be /etc/ ?

Use a text editor to edit them. FTP/network browse to the directory, right click & edit in a decent text editor.

I have tried the web address of site same results which says to me nothing to do with DNS servers.

not sure what you are actually trying to do with those commands, how, why & on what box?

Can I assume that method is good for most things like bootlogo etc? and i also now assume that's how my bouquet is maintained after using dbedit! as always restored without plugin or any manual updates.

yes, a 'normal' settings back-up will restore timers, bouquets, cams, settings and so on.
you can also manually add extra locations/files to the settings backup so these are also restored.

OK i have now re-flashed to 473 and yes updates now work again!!!!!!!!!!!! Having seen that they are working I ran trace route again which failed as per last night.

As last night I was then not able to access this page from my PC without resetting the router!! Having only reset the router my box updates are still working  I am clearly connected back to this page too. I have run trace route from my dos and works fine listed below.
