Still having an issue getting itv player to list programmes. Been on the this will take some time to load screen for last 10 minutes. Is there any way of debugging to see if there's any errors?

There are some updates coming for the ITV player ( may be a day or two as we need to test things first ).

It seems there are no streams behind this category and that is why you get this message. Better error handling is required and it will be looked at later, it's early days..

Installed this today and it's great - however I've had a couple of crashes on the BBC Player

1) trying to fast forward/rewind

2) hit the EPG button (to get further program information)

The Crash with the EPG button is a known and reported bug, FF and RW worked fine the last time i used them which was at the weekend.

Yes, it wasn't a consistent problem. I watched about 15 minutes of the HD Top Gear, then went back to it later and FFed to 15 minutes in. It played a few seconds, then stopped and I got a spinner for a couple of minutes. This happened a few times, sometimes I just restarted, sometimes it blackscreened and sometimes it ended up back at the OnDemand screen.

I think i'm rite in saying that we are looking at implementing other OnDemand services from the continent and beyond into the plugin as soon as were happy with the ones we have in there already are working as they should be.

try in telnet

init 4
opkg update
opkg install python-lxml
opkg install python-beautifulsoup
opkg install python-dnspython
init 3

and tell us in which line you get 255. Check your spelling the names are case dependent.

Try installing these packages manually instead, in the following order.


python-lxml
python-beautifulsoup
python-dnspython

Tried installing those manually after copying to /tmp but it fails 255. It tries to download from the wos site during the opkg install step. Is there something wrong with my image or perhaps the wos download servers are down?
