yes there is a news article on the BBC site now saying that the problems certain BBC sites including the Iplayer have now been fixed, so it was a genuine error on their side but has now been fixed.

Is there a way to edit this plugin and have other country "On Demand" services working on it. eg. New Zealand we have 3 networks providing On demand Programmes.

It was looked at over a year ago but was never added into the public version of OnDemand, due to measures the service provider took which meant that virtually no content could be played due to DRM encryption.

Hi, seems 3player is not working properly anymore. (from within Ireland). could someone please confirm?
I can get some programmes to start when going via "Fresh from the TV", but not when browsing for shows.

seems only to affect programms added in the last two weeks. Older progs work ok.
tried a few for testing like the Bondi Rescue from 10/09 starts, but the episode from 11/09 doesn't.

OK, it seems like something has changed with the TV3 streams. OD is throwing this error in the debug logs:

Gstreamer error: Not Found (5) from source
eServiceMP3::m_errorInfo.missing_codec = text/html
Gstreamer error: Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in. (12) from decodebin20
Gstreamer error: A text/html decoder plugin is required to play this stream, but not installed. (6) from decodebin20
Gstreamer error: Internal data flow error. (1) from queue20

I was hoping it would be a simple change like the HTML format on TV3.ie had changed but I'm afraid that is not the issue as the stream obtained is fine:

It will need a bit more investigation I'm afraid..

What a difference a P makes... I checked what a working URL Vs a non-working one and the difference was P. Working is:

The fix has been committed to the GIT but if you can't wait then unzip and upload the attached to this location:

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OnDemand/

Then restart enigma2 and you should be good. Make sure to delete the threeplayer.py after you restart, leave the threeplayer.pyo file.

There is a change I can make that will force 3 Player to always retrieve the stream (like Straight Off The Telly) but it will slow the playing of the streams. I will see how it goes but if this is still causing trouble then I will make the change..

Any known issue with pausing in OnDemand? Using ITVplayer, started to play, paused after three minutes, left for maybe ten minutes. Wouldn't restart so had to exit to itvplayer programme selection menu and start again

Others have had success by changing the stream quality to HD.
However it dosen't work for the LX3

Updated to Apollo 070 today, did not restore settings. Downloaded On Demand from feeds as usual. Wife wanted to watch The Missing - BBCiPlayer not working on either box. All other players work fine, but the Beeb player only shows the bouquet list and returns 'No Episodes Found For BBCiPlayer Listings for ......' when anything is selected.
Have other ways of viewing BBCiPlayer, but it is the best bit of the On Demand plugin - hope it's only a temporary issue!

there is a working xbmc iplayer on xunitytalk repo now any chance of porting it to vu+

Hi, now that Ireland has UTV Ireland with different player (player.utv.ie) to UTV NI (player.u.tv), Any chance to get that supported?
TV3 doesn't have any of the UK soaps, UTV is geolocked, but the new UTV Ireland player has them.
