mate please stick with it you wont regret once you have have mastered.I upgraded from Spiderbox to the solo, then duo and now the gigablue quad.Im as thick as mince so if i can do it anyone can (almost). Two days is nowt its took me nearly 2 years but really worth it.

I'd throw a philips telly out first before complaining about a solo 2

You googled 'overscan Philips <exact type number>'?
Or read the manual?

Ok, hands in air, I didn't. I just googled overscan Phillips. It's a mission to get to the back of the set. However, feeling your reproachful stare I got the model number then googled as you instructed. Nothing. Sorry.
The re sizing has, though, made the menus visible/usable :)

Seems so, and only with hdmi, not scart.

So it's not a big deal then? or are you one of those peole who turn off everything before going to bed :D
The only time I see the boot screen is after an update otherwise the box is always on ;)
The boxes are supposed to left on, when not in use you just go into standby :)

What is the model M8?

But when you plug a new box in and it buzzes....................You worry.

42PF5421/10 :o

Tis a HD "ready" TV not a proper HD telly, thats most likely why the option isn't there.
Thats truely awefull set, I have more or less the exact same but in plasma rather than LCD

IMHO LG's are good value for money should you ever be in the position to get a new TV

can vouch for the LG tv`s..

I got a 50" 3D plasma and a 42" 3D LCD..

Picture quality on both is amazing..

Best about the LG`s are they wont break the bank..

PS.. £55.00 + P&P for the solo2.. lmao

i will give you a pallet of findus lasagnes i bought cheap last week :D:D failing that £150 :thumbsup:

B'stards are gonna cost me! LCD or Plasma? and why?

BTW, now loving my Solo2 :p
