Merry Christmas to all Members, another great year here at WoS!

[Sicilian]

Once again with had another great year here World-of-Satellite.com. In approx 3 yeas 9 months we've gone from zero members to over 50,000 members.

This Forum was originally an idea as an English language based support Forum for VU+ Receivers, born as vuplus-support.co.uk, from that idea we've grown into what World-of-Satellite is today, the ViX Team was Formed in approx August/September 2010 with the release 1st VU+ Duo image and now supporting 20+ Enigma 2 receivers with the ViX image and more images to come shortly. Many more non-linux receivers supported through the Forum.

Our community has gone strength to strength in a very short space of time. I'd like to say a massive thank you to our loyal members, its you, the members that help make a our community what it is today.

Finally I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year from the ViX Team and all Admin/Staff here at World-of-Satellite

Hi

A Merry Christmas an a Happy New Year to you all.

Thanks for the history Sicillian really interesting to know how it it all began.

A big thank you for the development of a truly great image and the support you all give.

[Larry-G]

we have a thread in the dev section thats over 1000 posts long detailing the exact date and circumstances of the birth of ViX, one day we may get around to releasing it for the public to see just how it all started by one bored guy who wanted a better image than what was currently available for his own use.

I would just like to say a big thank you & Happy Xmas to all persons involved with this great forum.
This time last year I was scratching my head (still am LOL) on what E2 & sat boxes were all about, only to stumble across the WOS site.
I am truly grateful to all on this forum for kick starting my journey into the sat scene.
So on that note, Have a good, peaceful Xmas & Happy new year to one & all.
