Just wanted to say that on XP1000 the old issue that occurred in the early builds of crossepg 0.7 (xp1000 and et-9x00) is back.
cross epg takes 10 mins but never finishes (Maximum loop exceded in the log)

Same problem here with my XP1000 on Zeus build 008. Hangs for a long time at Reading titles and at Reading summaries. It does eventually finish.

Same here on duo2, same bug.on 007, rytec italy downloads events from all sources but.never stops...

So that's about Cross then? If so, don't use Cross for Rytec, but use the XMLTV-importer instead.

OK, please stop E2 (telnet 'init 4'), delete epg.dat and the cross folder, then start E2 again (telnet 'init 3'). Once E2 is alive you can try Cross again.
But we think there is a driver issue causing this issue on your box.

ET8000 & ET1000 run 13.6.1 and it run fine (although slow using the work around we coded that you are talking about), there is nothing more we can do with crossepg. if it not working it is down to manufacture to fix the bad code in drivers the we are trying to work around.

it was not, fully working, it was only partly downloading, it had segmentation fault, so it never had chance to fully download all, and why it never has MAX loop reached.

I can confirm it is fully working on 005
it downloads everything in a couple of minutes without any maximum loop exceeded messages in the log.
epg is fully populated for 7 days.
