done a clean install of 008 on xp1000
it seems to have fixed the issue.
crossepg is behaving as it was in 005.
i have combed through most of the channels especially sky ones and cant find any missing description or titles also database size is same as my solo2.
so it must have been something between 005 and 007 that caused this but ugprade to 008 didnt fix it (clean install did).

also a few days ago you mentioned sf8_vfd plugin wont be loaded in xp100.
my clean install of 008 had it installed and loaded.
it crashed again upon uninstall. crash log sent Ref: 1395598233.81

think i have found the issue, is to do with our 'Branding' please try it in build 009

Is there a way to update to zeus.08 without having to reinstall all the plugins? Last time I went from.03 to.05 was like a clean install I had to re install everything. My settings system update is flashing but never updates??

yes just use the Online Update.

just done a clean 009 install on xp1000
vfd plugin is still installed and loaded (crashes enigma2 on uninstall).
crossepg is not working again(maximum loop exceeded). it was working perfectly on 008 clean install.
plus other issues probably to do with branding ie. if you go into image manager and press yellow for download images the list is empty(unlike my solo2 which shows images available to download).

Im also having problems with crossepg not populating the epg with all the info. (SF8) updated to latest 009

Done the normal fresh epg.dat but still not working right. Getting Maximum loop exceded in the log

Do you have picons or a channel list installed from the feeds ?, if you do then when those are updated you will see the image update icon same as it would when there is a image update.

I recall reading somwhere that the crossepg folder had to be deleted.

Any chance of checking with a fresh flash of 009 and seeing if that fixes your issue? Thanks.

Deleted crossepg folder as well with clearing the epg.dat.

Looks like will have to give a fresh install a go

Ok fresh 009 install and hdd formatted and re-initialized. Still the same problem.

Using opentv and skyuk_astra2. Any more ideas?!

Have gone back and flashed 008 and atleaset crossepg works.
That change to branding didnt make any difference except breaking crossepg again on xp1000.

After spending most of this evening on this had enough for tonight, hopefully there will be an update to get this all working again soon.

Sorry to hear. Hopefully one of the beta testers has same receiver as you and can check debug logs. If not please upload yours.
