Having a problem trying to receive channel list from my Gigablue 800SE plus. Same goes for trying to send.
Im using latest version of Dreamboxedit which 5.3.1.6

This is happening even after a complete fresh falsh with no config setup on the box - just a channel scan on 28.2

When I try to retrieve the channels I get the following error

receive.webp

And when I try to send a channel list i get this error - any ideas??

send.webp

i take it your ip is correct as you rechecked and have you if needed setup dbe for that box, each different box needs its own setup page with dbe and saved?

you must first configure DE to look into the right directory on your box.default settings are made for dreambox.I have VU duo2 and had to configure the right directorys. Then receive FTP , change and save it.Then FTP back onto box. When flashing (empty list on box) you just load the settings first in DE and then FTP to box.

And what are the default directories for the GBlue? Dreamedit works for my connection to my techno mate. I would have thought the directories would have been all the same in vix regardless of whatever box you had.
Thanks

Yes they are. My guess is you havent set-up the connection to the box properly.

Assuming you're using ViX: never ever FTP any file to etc/tuxbox; it will be overwritten in the next image update.

Not sure if our how-to's are ever being read
Or the forum-search? This has been announced over and over again.

Best is to send the satellites.xml to temp, as it is not needed at all.

Go to dreamboxEdit Options and "reset Dreambox file paths to their defaults for": Enigma2 settings and save it.

So it's not for ViX then
Sorry, but I'm confused now.I always select enigma2 in dreambox edit options, not "satellite receiver" like OP did,and never had any problems to send channel list.Doesn't matter what image is on my GBUE.

Yes it is for vix

The only files I am trying to FTP are custom bouquet channels as I don't use ABM. But even before I do that I can't even pull all the scanned in channels as per the screenshot at the beginning

No need to reset because as I said at the start it works fine with my techno mate box
