I have my HDD mounted in Ext 4.
Recording and pausing live TV is fine, but in timeshift settings, i am unable to use the function "automatically start timeshift after" (to enable me to rewind live TV). I go to change the setting from 'disabled' to a select time period, the save it, but get the message: The directory /media/hdd/timeshift/ is not a EXT2, EXT3, EXT4 or NFS partition. Make sure you have a valid partition type.

Any ideas

Did you try manually re-mounting HDD after you installed 096?

I've just done a fresh flash (no restore) to 096, and this setting is working on my solo2.

I do have a slight pause on EPG which I've mentioned in another thread.

bbbuk, how are you finding 096 in general? im on 090 and have a few tuner issues. wondering if its worth going 096 or picking a much older image to be safe?

A slight pause on EPG is all I found on my setup but I only tried it this afternoon so can't really provide anymore info.

I've gone back to 090 build, which for me is fine, but I use sat side of things on 28.2. Are you having problems with things other than $ky 28.2 like Cable?

no i have strange issue.

i have 2 tuners and both are set up exactly the same:

Tuner A: Diseqc 13e, 19.2e, 28.2e
Tuner B: Diseqc 13e, 19.2e, 28.2e

However, when ever i want to scan an autobouquet or CrossEPG it fails. The only way to get round this is if i Disable Tuner B then scan works fine.
The issue with this is obviously, if i set CrossEPG to update once a week, it will fail and i will have to do that work around every week.
Im not sure if this is an image issue, hardware or just that ive set the Tuners up wrong?

FYI: TM Nano 2 Super with 090 image.

I unmounted HDD, and went through mount & setup mounts again. This appears to have sorted it. I can now set the timeshift. Weird

This is becoming off-topic and maybe you want to start a new thread but are you able to set your dish (fixed) at 28.2 and then set both tuners to Single, simple, 28.2E and then see if you still have problems. As I don't use a motorised dish, I don't know if it's possible to set dish to stay at 28.2 before setting both tuners.

The reason is you need to set tuner B as second cable from motorised, unless you actually have 2 dishes.

Hi Guys, thanks for your posts. but BBBUK is right, this is off topic. I have posted a new thread to continue this discussion:

@DaMacFunkin - its not a motorised setup. and yes both tuner A and B have their own separate feed to the satellites.
