great image vix 1.3 and thanks for the hard work, but is`nt there a sat key updater on this image?

Same thing here... Will not boot up properly... Tried waiting with the mains off, then start up again, but for no good. Display read "Starting", next time "Stinging", third time "Stag ing".... Weird..? I'm now loading from USB, and will have to do all the settings over again. Subtitles and audio on almost all channels... Well well, at least I know what to do... ;)

Did you do a software update from 1.2 - 1.3 as that is what may have been the problem you need to do a clean flash

Also, due to the image differences in original 5.3 and 5.4, an online update to VIX 1.3 will not be possible. A full flash will be required. Sorry guys...

Its on the release note so guys please read it thanks

Nope. Did a clean install with 1.3 yesterday, was using BH 1.3.3 until then. It went coco after the last software update online...

try a reflash and do the update first before anything and see how that helps

Yup, I'm doing that right now. ;)

Reflashed, installed 26 online updates, all well so far. Will now set up swap, and install EMU.

Guys,

After my issues yesterday I reflashed and started again. Im almost all up and running minus picons but when trying to install CCCam it keeps trying to install it to USB instead of flash (i dont have any space left on the usb drive). Is there anywhere where I can change this so it installs to internal flash or HDD?

Ok, but i only have 1 cam installed now, the test i was talking about was on Vix 1.2.
But maybe you can help me with anoother issue too, I cant change channels anymore by just pressing the left or right arrow, the channel info changes but the receiver doesnt change to the new channel, it will do so if i press OK though. Did i change a setting without knowing it?
Tnx

Vix setting and its QUICKEPG you need to change this from left/right to long OK and your left right will revert back to changing the channels but will need to press OK to use the QUICKEPG feature

ok do this

format usb in a fresh computer that has been virus checked fat32

place vix usb in there

reflash box

making sure nothign is connected even a cam or card just the box and then see what happens and report back

nfi and vuutility might be another option but that requires a nul modem cable

i can update my vu and work good
very very thanks

I'll try once more, but after re-installing everything (Image and updates), I can't get it to create a swap on the USB-stick. It doesn't find the stick. If I look under "Devices Manager", only the HDD is showing. If I then press "Mountpoints", it gives me the green screen.

It's strange, as it did work just fine before the latest updates. OK, off to give it one more go... Wish me luck. ;)

Great image guys, loving every bit of it! The new VIX EPG is class, so is the quick EPG. Just one question on the VIX EPG, I can't get the picons to show. They are on the USB stick, mounted as media/USB. I have USB stick selected in the VIX menu for picons. The picons show OK on the infobar. I tried to reduce the number of channels to 6 in VIX EPG menu and also tried to reduce various font size for better readability. I have PIG enabled.

Cheers

you need to press menu in vix epg and set use picons then you need to have maximum item set to 8 if you are not using PIG and if you are using PIG then 5 no more or they wont show

My box does this every now and then... Probably 30% of the time... This is the box itself being a bit pants... not the image

Maybe so, but I've never experienced it before. Just tried once more to create a swapfile on a USB-stick, but it ended in a green screen. Has any of you guys created a swap on a USB, in this image..? I mean, with a fresh USB-stick..?
