Hi all,

Since doing a recent update I've noticed that my VU+ Solo 2 isn't playing recorded HD content. SD content playback is fine but HD is playing all choppy.
Almost looks like a codec issue, has anyone else come across this issue??

All files played fine prior to the update, I have taken a back up so can roll back if necessary

Hi Murf15 - guess the experts like Abu are offline now. They would have redirected you to other posts (incl some from the team themselves) which flagged this issue. You need to get 137 or later (looks like one is being built now). Sorted it for me - thanks.

Hi Abu

Build 136

M

There have been problems found in build's 135 and 136 for the Solo2 and a few other receivers I would suggest that you install 132 until they are sorted, it should take a few days to rebuild the image

Thanks Khan88

I've also noticed streaming to my tablet the audio is out of sync with the video, is this also related to the update?
What is the best way to install this build manually?

I'm a n00b, booting off a flash drive?
Will I loose anything doing that?

Thanks
MuRf

That's why I recommended that he used 132 as 137 will still have the same issues on the Solo2 but my Duo2 is running fine on 137

Do you have any older images saved that you can revert to for the time being - what image where you running before you tried to update to 136

The back ups I have say 127 including one taken at the end of January......
I'm assuming restoring from a ISB will loose my channels plugins etc?

Maybe I'm better waiting until the automatic update is realised
Hmmmmmm but I don't like waiting

Any advice

Thanks
M

EDIT: also trying to roll back the system tells me the feeds are down half way through the process

Hi all,

I have never flashed from scratch so wondering what all will I loose if I do this?
Any idea when the feeds are back up to do the automatic update?

See above comments for more info

Thanks in advance

You need to do a settings back up, press blue button then choose vix, you will see the option to backup. When you do a new flash during the setup stage it will say it has detected a settings backup do you wish to use it, choose yes and you will be back to as you were but with a newer image version I.e. All settings back..

Because the feeds are down you won't be able to restore your plugins during settings restore, if you have only a few you could try and source them somewhere else.

Do we have an ETA on when the feeds will be back up?
The automatic update is probably the most simple option.....

Feeds issue resolved, auto update working.... great job guys!!
New build resolved issue originally reported

Just FYI I did a clean flash in the end - everything working perfectly!
Airplay not showing video but that's a separate issue and has a separate thread

Well done to the team!!! OpenVix Rules!!
