Any News on when there's likely to be a new image as Hades 18 was released over a month ago and all seems to have gone very quiet recently

Surprised there's been no driver updates or anything in the last month as before they were coming thick and fast.

Any News on any new features that are in the pipeline for future releases??

Hi,
to the driver. VU has their phases. Sometimes they are hyper active and each week a new driver, mainly before releasing a new box or feature, and then it is very calm from their side.

I think the new version will be able to make coffee:-)

Does that mean the new image has an Italian influence? ViXeolitti perhaps?! If it could control my italian coffee machine I would be well pleased. :)

Well I hope the next VU drivers fix the jittering with USB tuners.

I have the stuttering issue since hades14(which included new vu drivers) using a Nova-T USB tuner. Its fine on 13.

Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

No VU issues with Nova-T USB sticks here. What USB tuner are you using?
No trouble here with Nova-T or TwinStar.

It's about time Vu+ fixed the frequency display bug though.

Did all you mods manage to settle (kind of anyhow) on a new name for this image? :)

I have found dib0700 drivers to be the most stable out of all USB DVB-T tuners I have used. If you reflash to earlier image does your issue disappear?

I've noticed the same jitters with that driver. No issues on Apollo

Weird I haven't noticed issue on a Uno or a Solo2. I am using a play station twin tuner using same drivers and works well in my case. Hopefully someone here can help your issue or maybe when new image is released it rectifies your problem.

I'll see if I can get anything useful from the debug logs

yeah have been wondering myself if we are due a new version or an update to the image

haven't heard anything from hades 018 for over month

I use sundtek sticks, both cable and sat, i have no problem with the VU drivers pre hades 14, there was a full thread of people who had had this problem foisted upon them with the last VU driver update, the thread had instructions on how to install the old drivers in hades 18 which is what i did and i now have no problems, even Pembo has it and his USB tuner is from another manufacturer.
Old VU driver = No jitter on USB Tuners.
New VU Driver = Jitter on (some) USB Tuners.
Mad thing is my Mrs doesn't notice it, it drives me to distraction. :smash:

I've noticed odd jitter now and then on FTA channels and I don't use usb tuners, this is using the Solo2 tuners themselves.

It's rare like and it may not be related to driver issue rather than a slight problem with satellite signal or something. It's not signal quality as that is in it's 95%+

I don't think anyone else has reported having this issue with normal tuners rather than usb tuners so it's probably just signal or something like that.

If I get a chance I may swap to older drivers just to see if it problem persists!
