[ET9x00] EPG broken on Hades 018

dont know about waiting a month on a list but 20min scan every week or 2 & fixing my own list is much better

A minute scan when you want by ABM so much better.
And if folks bothered to read the readme, they could have their custom channel lists how they want them.

Bothered? Got to find it first..... I have spotted that there is a setting to keep non ABM bouquets, however that still doesn't over come the problem of transferring your hard work to a second box.

I have proof it is a Hades fault of some type:

Two boxes Et9x00, one running Hades 018 and one running Apollo 116. Both new fresh installs.

Both:
Setup the same e.g. tuners etc
Usb sticks setup and initialised
Crossepg settings the same
No bouquets added at all
Manual scan of single satellite 28.2E
Download epg


Now the Hades box has epg missing from Channels like ITV2 (could list loads) - but the Apollo box has the ITV2 epg listing.

This proves it cannot be my bouquets that are in error as I have no bouquets added to the machine - just the Last Scanned bouquet that the software in the box has added itself.

Compare the signal levels on same TPs on both machines.
The ITV2 channels, are the ones being compared on the same TP?
Are the storage mediums the same on both receivers?
What are the EPG settings you are using?
Are the drivers the same on both images?

Work on Hades stopped well over a month ago.

Sorry for sounding thick but what is a TP? Transponders?

Yes same TP
Yes same signal level (within 1 of each other)
Yes both mediums are the same (exactly)

Drivers:
Apollo - 2013-05-24
Hades - 2013-05-24

Epg settings:

Yes, transponder.

You should be aware that OpenTV EPG is affected by drivers. So make sure that your comparissons are fair and balanced.

Won't be any use. You are saying that the EPG sytem in Vix Hades has become faulty. We have not done anything to that aspect of image.

You need to compare like for like. Same settngs, same LNB, same cabling, same drivers, same storage device. That would be conclusive proof that there is something wrong with image.

As it stands, I'm of the opinion that there is somthing in the drivers that has changed. Your controlled tests would confirm this. If it turns out to be the case, the manufacturer will have to address it.

EPG is not broken in Hades. There is something wrong in your set-up. Believe what you want.
ViX 3.2 has just been released, so best to use that on a fresh flash now anyway.

You probably ate too much pudding? I have a Mut@nt HD2400, Vu+Solo2, Vu+ Uno and Xtrend ET10K and CrossEPG all fine.

You two both stated that your using self modified bouquets so look at that, that's where this fault appears to stem from and that's the only way it's likely to be fixed.

Issue is being caused by your bouquets, not the image.

1) Drama does not belong in documentaries.
2) Discovery Shed does not belong in Lifestyle and Culture.

Something you are doing is causing your issue.

Please post your complete bouquets files in a zip file.

I can't replicate on ANY box.
