Hello.. Just wondering if this is a possible fault thats known, ive set this up before using old images and been fine first time..

If im running CCam its fine but when i try and start Mgcam it goes black then back to same screen and shows Start not Stop im also using the correct files.. I get subtitles and black screen when trying this.

As far as im aware i delete the CCam file so there is no conflict so then i have the mgcam plugin installed then i would put my newcamd.list file in and mg_cfg files in var/etc.

Anyone have any ideas i have tried this on a fresh image install and an upto date image 010

Mgcamd 1.35a wont work on Vix 3.2 at the moment. 1.38 should be fine. Try these configs http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?40635-mgcamd-wont-autostart&p=312719&viewfull=1#post312719

Mgcamd 1.35a required libcrypto 0.98. We have a newer one in the image. We used to have a symlink that worked without issues. Unfortunatley, some Vu owners need the hbbtv plugin which requires the older one. So rather than ask Vu if they can make their plugin work with newer version of libcrypto, it was decided to remove the symlink.

This action has broken some versions of oscam too.

You can create this symlink and all should be well, unless youa re a Vu owner and need their hbbtv plugin.
ln -s /lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 /lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8

Working perfect with file you told me to get, thanks!!

do you need to do this with notepad and enter into the Lib

I've downloaded the hhbtv plugin

Thanks Abu but how do I do this? What is a symlink, where does it go?

install hbbtv and know 1.35a works fine. read post 2

So are you saying that when I download the hbbtv plugin it installs the libcrypto 0.98 and that makes mgcamd 1.35a work as well?

Use telnet and paste the command. When any plugin looks for libcrypto.so.0.98, it will be redirected to the newer version 1.00. Please do not do this if you use the HBBTV plugin.
ln -s /lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 /lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8

There are lots of guides on using telnet, one is here: http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?40948-How-to-use-Putty-for-Telnet-commands

Might be easier for you to try mgcamd 1.38. A link to working configs was posted in your other thread.
