[VU+ Solo2] Help with wierd error messages

I have sympathy for all posters suffering from these crashes as I went through exactly the same for over two weeks with my LX2 , spent hours every day doing as suggested by helpful posters and even had one poster who was very abusive for me daring to suggest that it could be a virus . Resolved the issue by returning the LX2 to W.o.S. to let somebody clever to sort out the problem , and purchased a Mutant 1200 which to my great delight works without a hitch on the Vix 21 image.
Why the difference ? same configuration on both boxes ,same isp , same hub , same plugins, one works the other doesn't

We have had your receiver setup and connected to our network now for a couple of days, no issues observed.

Right update guys. I did as the boss man said. and pulled Ethernet and did usb flash of ver 21. setup and started logging after 1 hour all great, so plugged in Ethernet and downloaded few plugins. 1.5hrs later no crashing or faults so far.... so guys follow the bossmans instructions so far so good.

What plugins have you put on so far. Will be interesting if I copy what you did later to see if there are similar results

Anyone having this issue do exactly this.

1) RE-boot routers. ENSURE ANY PORT FORWARDING TO YOUR RECEIVERS ARE CLOSED!
2) Re-flash complete fresh and setup using build 3.2.021.
3) DO NOT RESTORE ANY SETTINGS OR PLUGINS. DO NOT INSTALL NOTHING, INCLUDING ANY SOFTCAMS.
4) Leave exactly as default.
5) Use Autobouquetsmaker to scan for freesat.
5) Enable logs, Menu > Setup > System > Logs, enable and reboot the receiver to start logging.

If you get the issue, post the logs, without them nothing can be done or looked into.

Do I at any point plug the ethernet back in or leave it say an hour or so and see

I left it on bbc1 for 1 hour before plugging Ethernet in bud

Sorry, just to clarify set up without ethernet. Then reconnect and set up FTA

I also got this error message using fresh build of 20 (with no restore of plugins, etc - my usual setup) but I haven't noticed any other error mentioned in this thread. It never happened again after that but I do automatically turn off online check as part of my usual setup procedure.

This error happened during initial setup procedure and only once like I said.

Nothing has changed my end to cause this (that I know of) and I don't have any open ports, etc.

I did look for any logs at the time but there were none and as it hasn't happened again since so I didn't think much of it tbh and therefore haven't enabled debug logs.

How are you connected? Wired direct to router? Homeplugs? Wifi? USB flash or couch flash? Virgin or BT Hub? Any network switch?

Just in case it helps, I have a Duo2 and Uno connected through the same router, both with the same settings and plugins installed
running latest v21.

The Duo2 doesn't get the error message, but the Uno does.

I'm not getting any lockups or anything else, just the error message on the Uno, and if I press exit it goes away, and providing the
Uno is in normal on mode it's fine, the error message will only appear when coming out of standby.

Can you pot the settings file in /etc/enigma2/ of both so they can be compared?

Right, fresh flash of 21. Ethernet out. Freesat scanned. Logging enabled.

Now we wait

Not a easy a you think to reproduce.
If you can state box used, build used & exact easy to follow readable steps, it might help.
