Hi All,

I have just upgraded to 4.2 and now I'm struggling to get my Timers file to show.

I saved my Auto Timers & Timers files before I upgraded, then after the upgrade put them back in the same folder.

My Auto Timers show no problem but my Timers don't show, the Auto Timers have of course re populated but the recordings that were completed and the one off Timers I did have in there are not showing.

Any help would be great.

Jason

curious why you want an old list of used timers and recordings as i just use cleanup to remove list of timer recordings that have done its job, recordings will be on hdd or usb or where ever you sent them to.

any time i plan an upgrade i take note of planned recordings and just reenter them .

Did you stop enigma (a telnet "init 4" command) before copying the files? And an "init 3" to restart enigma.

I have a lot of Auto Timers for the F1 and I having the old recordings listed stops for repeats been recorded again.

I did try that but got an 'Unknown error' pop up, I'm using Firefox FireFTP and entered the remark into the 'Command Line'.

Its not a major problem, I can work around it.

Thanks both for your replies.

i have been using the same timers.xml and autotimers.xml files on the ultimo for almost 4 years and it works flawlessly (although the ultimo is still on the hades image).

Try using a real FTP client for best results. I have been using a fully paid for version of flashfxp for almost 15 years. Or if your cheap (I'm joking) try one of the free ones there's loads to choose from.
