[rossi2000]

did we notice what exactly?

[alan1812]

I think he is referring to
http://code.vuplus.com/index.html?action=repo&repos=oe30

[DaMacFunkin]

What exactly is meant by support scrambled playback?

[IAmATeaf]

Maybe it's a new feature where a freeview channel can be scrambled? [emoji16]

[Joe_90]

@tappari's home DVB-T2 network is mainly encrypted - it is not Freeview.

[Huevos]

What exactly is meant by support scrambled playback?

It means decrypting a transport stream at the time of playback. i.e. no decrypting system was available at the time of recording.

[2stein]

this is a circumvention for the limitation of ci+ modules that can only decrypt one stream. with this feature you can record many streams in parallel without descrambling them.

[DaMacFunkin]

Oh right so will the offline decode feature now work?

[tappari]

At the moment it seems that VU+ 4K boxes can do recordings without unscrambling and saving ECM with latest ViX images. Unscrambling is done with CI+ module afterwards when watching recordings.

[twol]

Why would this be only a vu+ feature???

[abu baniaz]

What a pathetic title. Link is dynamic, so who knows what the original link referred to.

[tappari]

Why would this be only a vu+ feature???

Bacause of latest VU+ 4K drivers.

[abu baniaz]

please suggest a better title

[twol]

Bacause of latest VU+ 4K drivers.

You mean they have fixed a few things?

[tappari]

You mean they have fixed a few things?

Yes. But it is only available for VU+ 4K boxes. It does not work in my older Duo2 and Solo SE V2. Just in my Ultimo 4K.
