As you may know, I am the author of those skins. As VIX is now based on PLi, they work fine. They are available via the VIX-feeds.

If you are interested, I could add the VIX-specific screens (= VIX-Menu).

by all means, if you are the originator of the skin and want to fully make it ViX skinned the that is only a good thing, take a look at the ViX-HD skin of what elements are used.

I like your skin....can you add screen resluotions please

Magic-HD-ViX

OK, here is the HD version. AndyBlac will probably use it to patch Magic-HD in the feed, but in the meantime you can use this one.
Just copy both folders to /usr/share/enigma2/ and choose the skin "Magic-HD-ViX" from the menu.

If you find any flaws, or missing screens, please inform me and I will try to correct or add them.

Magic-EHD-ViX is the next step.

Please be aware that a few elements in Magic-HD-ViX (still?) rely on the presence of ViX_HD, so please do not delete that skin.

Warning Magic-HD skin must be installed first from the VIX feeds then add Magic-HD-ViX

Just installed the Magic-HD-ViX and i get a green screen and the spinners going in a permanent loop

had to remove the Magic-HD-ViX files and hard reset the box to boot again :D

Sorry it did not crash it just showed a green screen no writing then showed vix starting with the spinner going then around 30sec green screen again then starting with spinners

perhaps some one else can try it out before try trying to fix the skin

i have removed all skins except the default ones and im going to try again

i had that when i started out on my skin. turned out it was fonts error on skin.

Well, as it works fine here, and no crashreport shows up, I am not sure if there is anything to fix in the skin....

But: the DUO has a bad habit of doing what you describe, especially if the skin-file is large (and even worse if a (timeshift)recording is in progress). If you cut the power for a couple of minutes, you will probably be fine again.

This DUO-bug is related to Enigma2 shutting down too slow. The manufacturer is aware of this.

OK, you found it.
You can easily solve that by downloading a Magic-HD skin. No need to use it, but that will bring the fontsmap on your system.

As I always have the Magics installed, I forgot about that. Sorry

Had to put on my backup image my last one would not boot LOL

tried the skin again still had the same problems that i posted earlier

removing the files lets your box boot-up

you could have mentioned that in the first post :lol3:

will try again now
