I have tried to change my password in telnet, but now I have been locked out of accessing my VU+ in both FTP and telnet. Is there a way to get round this problem, or do I need to re flash my firmware to get back to the default password?

Try using the password changer in the plugins feed use the one in systemsettings

the menu will appear in setup after installation

Thanks for the reply

It is asking for current password, which is now my problem. Although when I changed the password in telnet it was accepted, but when I tried to log on it said password was incorrect. I assume the only option now is a rebuild to get back to default password, if the current one is no longer known.
Would be great if there was a better option than this.

U sure u didn't have caps lock on when u type the password?
