right ive got out the house and to ma dads, locked onto wifi and managed to stream SD channels with the odd glitch, a hell of a lot better than before but this new version has no HD support which isnt a problem because the SD quality looks like HD on the iphone 4 lol

I have just streamed from the vuplus to my ipad using xbmc.
Here's how I did it:

1. Jailbreak your Ipad / Iphone
2. Install xbmc
Code:

3. Add video source tuxbox://ip_of_vuplus:80

That's it, vuplus streaming straight to the ipad.

I gave this a try. Tried adding the video source, typed the source as:
tuxbox://192.168.0.8:80

192.168.0.8 is the ip address of my vu+

I says cant connect to source. Am I doing this right?

It could be that you are tring to connect over your data package rather than over wireless.

You can add other windows shares for other file formats. Eg avi files. You can use the browse button to see if you can find any of your shares. You will know then if you are on your LAN.

Hi Mate,

Check this link out below:

http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?4436-VU-DUO-VIX-Image-(-Video-on-Iphone-VLC-Player-)-not-working

I've been using Airvideo on my iPhone for some time now and have updated my channels etc too so I can access them from anywhere (providing my computer at home is on) and I can change channels too. Works a treat with VU+Duo as I use the second tuner for my streams to the iPhone and people at home continue to watch what ever they want.

Regards

Malcolm
