I was going to answer
https://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?66663-Displaying-a-single-bouquet
but one menu item is not working in the way I remember

menu/setup/user interface/channel selection .... Always show bouquets = no/yes

I believe previously when this was set to NO when pressing the EPG button on the remote the EPG for the last bouquet used/selected was immediately shown. If the bouquet needed to be changed then a press of the TV button was first required which brought up the list of Bouquets.

When set to YES an extra step was inserted. Pressing the EPG brought up a list of bouquets. Then on selecting a bouquet the EPG for that bouquet was then shown.

On my box selecting no or yes in "menu/setup/user interface/channel selection .... Always show bouquets" makes no difference. I always get the list of bouquets when I press the EPG button.

I think in the link above the poster wants what I remember to be the past behaviour where on pressing the EPG button it takes him immediately to the EPG for the bouquet he was watching for live TV, or the last bouquet that he had selected.

Note: I have rebooted the box between changes to the setting and saving

Yes, it's the past behaviour you describe that I'm looking for.

When I press epg I go directly to the grid epg of the currently playing bouquet.

Can you post your settings file please.

Tiny bit of background. For the past few years I've always had menu/setup/user interface/channel selection/Always show bouquets = yes on both my Xtrend ET10K and my Zgemma H9S and only changed the setting to check what I was going to write in as a response to the link in my first post in this thread. My settings have have been imported from backups from various versions of OpenVix probably for 2+ years.

I've just checked my Zgemma H9S and it has the same problem as the ET10K. Irrespective of the setting of menu/setup/user interface/channel selection/Always show bouquets I always get tne list of bpoquets when i press the epg button on the remote.

Two settings files. The first one is with Always show bouquets =Yes and the second with Always show bouquets =no. Both are from my ET10K and the file location is /etc/enigma2/settings.

In the first file there is an entry that says config.usage.show_bouquetalways=True at line 329. In the second file this configuration entry is missing. Does this indicate that the setting file only contains settings that are different to the default settings AND in this case the default is incorrectly set to "Always show bouquets =Yes"

You are confusing ChannelSelection with EPG.

Press epg to open grid epg. Once you have grid epg displayed press menu.
"Show bouquet on launch" = No. And you are done.

Thanks for that. Yes, that setting does change the behaviour as I remember it from some time back. This is probably the setting digitl needs to change
