Hi,
I switch off the power of the VU+ Duo4K (NOT SE!) if not used. If I switch on the power I always get a crash loop from Enigma2 which ends after quite a few minutes. I have FBC tuner with 4 SCR connected to a JESS multi switch and FCC is active I think with 5 channel. Attached 1 of the crash and debug logs. I have this since a few month but I did not use the VUs much recently.

I think I also have the same behavior on my Ultimo 4K.

can you turn off FCC and see if problem still occurs

Hi,
I had the same Idea while I wrote this post. I write me an e-mail so that I remember this evening.

Edit: I changed it via VPN and it seemed to work but I know more this evening. I only set FCC max channel to 4 which should work with 4 SCR.

How are you turning it off? You have to put the box into deep standby first before removing mains power (long press of the power button on the remote and select deep standby from the options that appear)

Hi,
I have the box long enough to know this. In my case it is done by the home automation. If I want to turn off the power the home automation brings the box to deep standby through the web api and a minute later the power plug switches power off completely.

Hi,
it seems really connected to FCC. I disabled FCC and it now worked several times. But it is a pitty to disable FCC because it is a very nice feature.

HELP PLEASE - the ULTIMO has a software problem

Please note I'm quickly out of my depth in all this (I turn 90 in September) and am unsure how to progress.

The message on the TV screen is attached.

Any detailed assistance greatly appreciates as the Vu+ is used to receive TV via VAST here in Australia and that is my only source of TV.
