Just installed Openvix 6.6.013 in my Dreambox DM920.
It is very very stable, like in other receivers.
Very good job by the developers, despite the lacking of support from the manufacturer as mentioned here in the past.
Just a question please.
After changing channel to another one not viewable (from an FTA channel to an encrypted one, for example) the last frame of the previous channel stays frozen on my TV screen, instead of a blank screen.
This does not happen using different receivers that I tested (Octagon SF8008 and Vu+ Duo4KSE).
Am I wrong something? Maybe any setting to change? Thanks.

Maybe post debug log? Away at the moment so cannot look at my boxes

Could you please explain me how to take the right log file from the box?
Please check your box when you can, and tell me if my log is needed. Thanks.

Try this: menu, setup, user interface, channel selection, Zap mode = black screen. Setting is last but one.

Thank you, this is exactly the setting I was looking for, but unfortunately it is not present in the Dreambox menu.
I have it in the Vu+ menu and it works, but not in the Dreambox. Maybe a little bug in the Dreambox image?

Code:
/proc/stb/video/zapmode
/proc/stb/video/zapping_mode
For that option to appear the receiver must have at least one of those on the filesystem. Obviously the developers on your drivers for got to add them. So nothing we can do this end.

Sorry but not sure that I understand correctly your post.
Obviously the issue is not fixable from you if it is a driver limitation, but what about the strings you posted?
Can I add them via telnet in any file and solve the problem? If so, where can I check? Which file? Thanks.

Nice idea, but they are internal proc files, supported by the box drivers.
So creating them will get you nowhere, as not originally created & supported by the dm920
