The sat tuners on this box have failed so have donated it to a terrestrial-only household.

Signal is from Bilsdale transmitter via loft aerial and powered splitter to two rooms. Scanned numerous times, yesterday, and whilst Al Jazeera and FRANCE24 show in scanned list they do not appear in "All Channels" list. BBC muxes show 100% signal whilst Sky News etc. 10% or less.

Is this just a signal quality problem or could there be something else at play ?.

Best to upload a debug log showing the scan. It might reveal the problem.

Al Jazeera English was available on Freeview channel 235 in the UK and Ireland until September 30, 2024. It is now available as a streaming service on Freeview channel 251

Thanks, shall do that next time I visit.

I have since discovered that these services are not available on Bilsdale but still confused as to why their names appear in the scanned list.

I presume you have used Terrestrial scan plugin to scan. They would still be on the tables because official receivers TVs would know that they are to be streamed. If so, I suppose those type of channels would need to be omitted or those specific channels blacklisted. Please provide a log.

However, you may be recommended to use terrestrial bouquet plugin as the LCN is now obtained and saved to a database.

The last scanned bouquet is a system bouquet. It is a dynamic bouquet. The Terrestrial bouquet created by Terrestrial scan will not include the hbbtv/streaming channels.

If you want, select BBC one HD, then perform a manual scan. Your last scanned bouquet will then only contain the channels on that multiplex.

As a separate matter, if you want the ABM provider file updated, please upload your lamedb file.

I'll upload my log later when I switch PC on.

Thanks for all of that. It will be a few weeks before I get back to that box.
