Gigablue UHD Quad 4K Pro - Remote not responding

Flash new image into a slot and see if on boot the image reacts to any of the remotes
If it doesn,t react its an issue with your remotes
If the box reacts, then do not restore settings but setup anew

I will try that tomorrow but now this AI say that "The current OpenViX6.8.006 may lack IR/rc core support, which is required for the remote control to function properly." This is strange. I have never had this problem before. Three different original Gigablue remotes that previously worked for a while but when I updated OpenVix 6.8.006 the problems started. I don't think all remotes can be at fault. The fault must be inside the device.

Now I have Flash new image and remote control and all work well. Which files and directories I should backup somewhere else if this hapening again so I can restore easily all back

So I am assuming you didn't restore settings but setup anew?
If true, I am guessing that some where in your settings file /etc/enigma2/settings, there is a setting that causes an issue with the remotes.
So backup the settings file now (ViX backupManager) and keep a copy of that backup somewhere safe.

No, I didn't restore settings. I done all from the begin.

I am just wondering, now that I have flash version OpenVix 6.8.003 and now it suggests updating to version 6.8.006 is wise to do it, or is it wise to just stick with this working version?

Just Great. I update now to 6.8.006 and what happen? Remote control NOT work anymore AGAIN.
This must mean that that version must be some problem.
Must try to delete this version from my box.

Could it be some kind of mice/mouse and remote control problem? I dont have any mouse connected and I havent ever even try or need any mouse.

I will try to restore settings from a backup to this 006 version. NOT help only settings restore or even image and settings of 003. Must do again "emercengy" from laptop to instal pure openvix. Should I try 006?

Now I have flash direct 006 version via "rescue" mode. and at the moment remote control working.
I also load settings and extensions back and at least remote cotrol working. So far so good
6.8.006 working with my remote control.

Yes I have done backups from Image and settings. I do have old 003 ja new 006 settings backups i will try to compare them

It's not necessarily the directories you are backing up. It's a setting error which you have been restoring on previous attempts. If you have a clean settings file and your remote(s) are working currently, then please don't try restoring an old settings file. What is the solution from @Orlandox ? Did you get one from a private message or is it from post #2 or other one earlier in the thread? Solutions should be posted on the thread so that others can benefit.

You will often find when after loads of help and eventually the OP gets a solution they guard it with their life, as if to say, ha now I'm sorted I'm off. I make a note of those that do that and make sure never to help them again

Here was the bug/solution:
this is too much : '/dev/input/'

So copy the old data from version .003 over the new Input definitions. That's where the remote control dies!
