changing LCD screen

Does anybody know how I can change the flashing "R" in to stable "R" in the LCD screen when watching EPG or a recording. Is differant screen from LCD4 plugin on normal watching screen

Edit the display skin. /usr/share/enigma2/display/skin_display.xml

In that file edit InfoBar. Remove blink attr from that icon.

THX removed all the blink in that file and is oke now

I know it is an old thread but did you have any issues / slow downs with lcd 4 linux installed
I used to have it on the old duo2
I would like to try it on the duo 4k

I did try the skins in the plugins for the display but did not like them so was thinking I could possibly go back to lcd4linux but have seen here that it may slow the box ?
