[VU+ Ultimo4K] solved - external USB drives not coming back - UDEV ?

Thanks for the response.

Well, Multiboot is active now with the 6.8.007 in Slot-1 and working - yay !

So those Multiboot.py files for OpenBH, OpenATV and OpenPli will be setup / placed / copied automatically in the correct place when installing one of those ? No copying manually (anymore) ?

Hans
Correct - each handles it correctly

Thanks.
As I'm still copying my movies, not done anything with the multiboot, other then having the OpenVIX one set-up.
One more question regarding multiboot with OpenATV and / or OpenBH: when flashing / installing those, do I choose multiboot in those as well during that install, or after, or not at all ?
Thanks in advance,
Hans

So in OpenViX select ImageManager and you can download directly an image for your receiver from the main images such as OpenATV/openpli/openbh and flash into a slot. Note if not flashed before you will have to configure them from scratch.
Once in OpenATV press blue button to backup settings and flash online….again if you look hard enough you can flash other alien images. Openpli uses same sort of flash online package as ATV but cannot remember how you get there.

To switch slots in these images, long press power and then select multiboot.XXXXX…….. various names all allow you to boot another slot

Solved ... (so please do update the name of the post, as I don't see where I can do it)
- Reason for the box to hang with the USB-drives connected, was because they were not Ext4. Pity, but understandable for a Linux box :)

With the multiboot, I now tried ATV and BH and have deleted them again from the slots.
I did set them up, with the tuners and channels, but seeing some things so different, I then decided to not put more effort in them to try and get used to them.

After 12 years using VIX, I'm too used to it probably, and for me it is the more logical one.
Please be aware this is my personal opinion, and in no way indicative of the possibilities the other 2 images most probably DO have, but I was just too lazy.

Thanks for the help on both issues.
