This is probably my first post, so it may have been posted in the wrong place. Sorry.
I have a strange problem. When I go to Hotbird Astra 19.2 for example, the dish turns to the right position and place but there is no picture. Just a black screen. Then when I change from Das Erste HD to One HD on Astra, for example, the dish image appears on the screen and I try to turn the dish again from 13.0 -> 19.2, even though the dish has already turned when I went to Das Erste HD. And there is no picture, just a black screen.

What is even more strange is that yesterday it worked and even earlier this morning there was a picture from both Hotbird and Astra, but something has now gone wrong, as now it no longer gives a signal.

The pictures show the settings for A-viritin, B-viritin and the rest of the virtual tuners separately. Are the settings I have set correct? What have I set incorrectly?

I unplugged the power cable and left it without power for a long time and now it seems to be working, at least for now.

Please read the following. You should not be using a Unicable LNB on a motorised dish. Unicable is for fixed dishes only.

Great, it didn't even occur to me when I heard that it was worth replacing. Well now I got the answer and I just have to replace the basic LNB back. Thanks for the info.

Actually, according to the instructions attached here, I was able to partially fix my problem. All S2X and internal tuners now work at the same time and recording is successful with all of them. The only problem that has not gone away is that if I go to Hotbird and then go back to the T2 tuners, the second one (J) drops out of use until I restart E2.

So, "I" works, but not "J"? Someone else with the same setup needs to confirm.

If it works after a reboot it is not a hardware issue, but could be drivers.

Correction to the previous one: Satellite channels are visible but there is still a small problem.

When I go to Astra 19.2 RTL for the first time, for example, I have to quickly switch to another channel and immediately return, then the picture starts to appear, after which the other channels work normally.

I can't use the recording yet, because I have to do this quick channel change the first time. What setting should I change to get rid of this first time channel jump?

ADDITION: with these settings as shown in the picture it seems to work now. The picture comes on immediately, and you don't even have to change the channel back. At least for now

"Viive jännitteen kytkemisen jälkeen ennen vaihtokomentoa" That is the setting you need to change. For your LNB the default is 800, but maybe it requires more. Lots of LNBs require a lot more, e.g. 2700. I have a different model Inverto and 800 works fine. If you still have problems raise this setting in steps of 300 until it works stable. But remember, do not increase it unnecessarily because this is a sleep delay, i.e. 1) the tuner sends power to the LNB, 2) the tuner waits for 800 ms for the LNB to preper itself for commands, 3) the tuner sends the command to the LNB what to tune. If step 2 is not long enough the LNB will not have time to boot so step 3 will fail. If step 2 is too long the viewer will notice a longer pause before the channel finally opens.

With the settings shown in the picture, at least it seems to work for me now. When the motor has turned, the channel opens immediately. There is no need to separately change the channel to another one or even back.

Later this afternoon, we will test again that the dish is on a different satellite and the recording has been scheduled for another one. It remains to be seen whether the recording will be successful.

The problem I presented in the other place regarding T2 tuners is still a mystery to be solved.

Don't forget, time to move dish will depend on what the last motor position was. Can you issue following command using Putty and post back the result you get please?

grep 'config.Nims' /etc/enigma2/settings

The time for the dish to move is is not related to the power up time. The dish won't even move until the power-up time has expired.

ADDITION: with these settings as shown in the picture it seems to work now. The picture comes on immediately, and you don't even have to change the channel back. At least for now

Since I have no idea what to put in these fields, I have now used AI to get these numbers and it works better than what I described in my previous image.

I wouldn't dismiss AI out of hand like that. I've certainly found it useful to suggest a topic for further investigation. I would say use it as a fault finding tool but verify from a number of sources and then use the results cautiously according to your experience!
