Hi, I’m looking for documentation on the URL to set an auto timer on an Enigma 2 Satellite receiver (in my case an Octagon SF8008 plus running OpenVix and OpenWebIf). I need to know the URL to use and what parameters it accepts. I can’t seem to find the documentation for this anywhere. I am writing my own app for an Apple TV to interface to enigma 2 boxes and provide a (hopefully) better user experience tha this currently available for the Apple TV.

EDIT: This is out of date. See below for current URI.

OK. then the documentation page for the latest OWI is at:

As for the missing autotimer documentation,. the call is:

http;//Vix-box/autotimer.

If you're using Firefox you can look at the network calls with the Web Developer Tools when making queries with OWI to see what you need to do.

Thanks for that. Do you have information of how the parameters passed to http;//Vix-box/autotimer should be formatted, and what they are. Is is possible to add, delete and list autotimers using this endpoint? That’s the information I can’t seem to find anywhere. I’m trying to do this programmatically, but so far have had no success in everything I’ve tried using that endpoint.

Not off-hand. I know the results come back as xml.

I'd use wget to see what comes back when I send a query and work forwards from there.
One thing that I recall needing to be done is to get the service id for a channel. You might think of it as a name, but the API requires the id which is a string of :-separated numbers.

Yes. Otherwise OWI itself wouldn't be able to do it.

You may be better off also raising an issue on Github and discuss with JBleyel. Some features yu want may be present but not documented. If there are features that need to be added, he will consider them.
