Sorry if this has been asked before.
I would like to buy a BVB-T stick to use with my VU+ DUO running VIX2.2. What would be the best performing supported device?
Thanks

Hi,

Is it possible do disable the "Online Check" for updates? My box is not connected to the net most of the time and I keep getting an "Online Check error" .

G

Not at the box yet but go into customize and see if there is a yes no for update, if not there is a time check iirc its the 2nd setting just set this to a ridiculous large number.

DVB-T is the correct naming of a tuner capable of receiving terrestrial digital TV (and DVB-C is its cable-counterpart, and DVB-S for the satellite tuner).

As stanman says, there's a number of hours to check option. I would image that if you set it to 0, then it sets it to never check for an update (either that, or it is always checking, but I would guess the first option would be most likely :p)

As many have stated, the hauppage nova-t stick is one of the most popular sticks. Another option which seems to work great, and has support from the manufacturer for all images, is the sundtek stick, which iirc works as a dvb-t/c. But, it's more expensive than the other sticks too I think...

Thanks Pooface just ordered a Nova stick off ebay just 15 quid so will give it a go :)

Hi

Great image, runs without any problems, thanks !!!

I just have a nerdish question : were can I find the setting for showing only the detailed infobar when using the Kerni HD1R2 skin ?

See attached pictures to see the difference between VIX 1.3 and 2.2

Thank's in advance for your reply(s), Tom

did i read somewhere that this must be a clean install and not use the autoback up??? if so how do i turn it off as ive just tried the flash but its loading my old settings and i beleive i turned it off in the autoback up menu. thank you please.

Have a look in Customise menu.

Thanks for your reply.

I did look in the customise menu but none of the options is giving the desired response.

Should I download something extra ??

btw I'm using CCcam 2.2.1 and this is working ok.
