ViX Team VU+ Duo Image v2.2.100 - 21/07/2011

Hi!
I have a really annoying problem. Watching TV, both tuners are activated after a few minutes. The red "R" is blinking in the infobar, and if I try to restart enigma through the menu, I get a warning that there's a recording going on. The problem is that there's no recordings going on, and no recordings waiting in the timer list either. If I turn the box off using the powerbutton, it sounds like the harddisk is still running, even if it it set to go off after 10 seconds. The box is behaving as it is recording something, but it isn't. If I restart enigma, only one tuner (A) is active, and if I turn off the power at this state, it is working as it should, The harddisk is then spinning down after a few seconds.

Any advice on how I can get rid of this ghost-recording..?

Nothing..?

No, I'm afraid not.
Nobody is looking via LAN (that is also considered to be an recording)?

Nope, no LAN-viewers... Guess I just have to flash it again, and hope for the best.

There is also a number of jobs that the box regards as a recording, but it would be very coincidental to run into that very often (happened only once here).

What kind of jobs are these..?

Autotimer check is one of them as far as I know

I'm reflashing it now... Hopefully I get rid of the continous recording (or pretending it is recording). Very strange behavior.

remove cccam

how do you remove / uninstall Cccam 2.1.4 from Vix 2.2.100?

How can I disable the web-TV function on this box? Or maybe make a password? I suspect that I might unwanted guests, watching TV using my box... :(

Unless you got yr webif port opened and forwarding yr box no one but yr local network can access web tv

Is this a fixed port..? It might be open. Forwarding; I've not done anything active, everything is default.

If everything is default then it is port 80 just make sure yr router us not forwarding port 80

But then if it's default then webif streaming is also set to off as default

webif

How do I make settings/enable/disable the webif for this box?

Noticed empty trash doesnt work, I deleted a load of recordings and deleted the trash using the menu but noticed the drive space was still the same. When I went to trash folder it was empty... Connected using FTP all the recordings were still there so deleting using FTP for now.

Dont know if this has already been mentioned or I did something wrong but thought its worth a mention.

Did you go back in straight away as this is not instaneoue, does take some seconds for it to do it.

Also if you have the size for recordings set to 50% (in customise) or whatever IIRC the deleted folder is only emptied when the recordings reach your maximum HDD % level

Check your settings in customise.

Checked a few days later, will check customised settings but I havent changed any so it will be set to default, but I think its worth checking out a bit more. As I deleted and they went to trash which is fine but when you empty trash there should go regardless of settings as your manually doing it.

Im not critising or anything, I am just saying after I emptied the trash the files were removed from the directory on screen but even 2 days later when I ftp'd to the box I found them still there. Possible bug I dont know. Might be worth trying out.
