[VU+ Solo2] 1 x Fixed Dish + 1 x Motorised Dish

Vu Solo 2 arrives tomorrow but reading the Openvix user guide struggling to get my head around connecting 1 LNB of a fixed dish and 1 LNB from motorised dish. Motorised will probably spend 90% of lit's life at 28.2E so can watch one channel whilst recording another (assume the box can do this).

Not a complete newbie but was years ago when I set my DM800HD up (hoping this Solo 2 box much better).

Is this possible? Will the motorised dish move when timer recordings become active for channels on 28.2E if has been left on another satellite?

set your fixed on tuner A and usals on tuner B.Then go and set preferred tuners to A and recording to B.Than you always have access to all the sats for recording.

It will all be fine, if you do what bellejt says should be no issues.

To answer your question your motorised will move on its own if a recording starts.
